Pamela S. Grimes, Esq.
Pamela first began her legal career as a police officer in law enforcement with Clayton County Police and Gwinnett County Police Departments respectively. During her nearly 10 years in uniform, she was the recipient of several awards and commendations which included the Meritorious Service Medal, Police Officer of the Year, and Police Officer of the Month. She was also one of 26 officers chosen by her department to attend the P.O.S.T. Certified Training Officer classes where she went on to train new police recruits in the areas of field duty and officer safety. Pamela obtained numerous other P.O.S.T. certifications in the areas of Accident Reconstruction, DUI, Radar, Weapons, Interview Techniques, and Drug Identification. She has investigated over 1,000 motor vehicle accidents. As a result of her proactive approach to policing, she initiated and assisted in the successful prosecution of over 6,000 cases during her law enforcement career.
She continued her legal career by attending Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. While in law school, she was part of the insurance defense litigation section at Drew Eckl & Farnham where she gained valuable experience in the areas of Tort and Contract law. In addition to obtaining her law degree, Pamela is also a licensed Certified Fraud Examiner as well as a Private Investigator.
She is admitted to practice in all lower courts in the state of Georgia as well as the Georgia Court of Appeals, Supreme Court of Georgia, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Pamela is a member of GDLA, GAWL, and IAAI.
